5 Killer Ways to Build an Email List

The most important asset in your online business is your email list.

90% of my income currently comes from email!

In this quick article I would like to share with you 5 killer ways to build an email list.

1 – Solo Ads

Solo ads are the primary way I build my email list and my favorite form of paid advertising.

With solo ads you pay an email list owner money to send out your offer to their email list.

Most list owners charge around 40 to 70 cents per click. I buy all of my solo ads from a service called Udimi.

Udimi is a great place to buy solo ad traffic if you’re in the marketing, business opportunity or weight loss niche.

2 – Podcasts

A unique way to build an email list is to appear as a guest on another podcast with a similar audience.

Most show hosts will let you do a plug during the podcast because you’re providing value to their audience.

Instead of pitching your product share with the audience your lead magnet so you can get them on your email list and market to them later.

3 – Blogging

A lot of people visiting your blog will be first time visitors.

So instead of trying to make the sale right away get your visitors to subscribe to your email list by offering them a lead magnet.

A great way to promote your lead magnet on your blog is by using a popup. My favorite tool to create popups with is OptinMonster. Check it out right here.

4 – Lead Magnet Funnel

One of the easiest ways to build an email list is to drive traffic to a lead magnet funnel.

With a lead magnet funnel you offer your visitors something valuable (PDF,cheat sheet, software tool) so they will give up their email address and join your list.

I like building my lead magnet funnels with a funnel builder called ClickFunnels.

5 – Gated Content

A unique way to build an email list is with gated content. Gated content is  exclusive content on your site that you offer your readers in exchange for their email. Here is a great article about gated content right here.

Conclusion

According to Statista.com email marketing’s average return on investment is anywhere between $36 and $45 for every dollar spent.

So it just makes sense to be growing your email list on a daily basis.

Hope these tips helped.
